Carrollton, once again, gives us another ear darling music through their single “Made For This”. The indie-rock Christian band with members: Jordan Bailey on the bass guitar, drummer Michael Loy, Carrollton’s lead guitarist Jeremy Menard, and the lead vocalist/guitarist Justin Mosteller shares us their stories of their journey as Christians. Through the years of doing music, they made it clear that they wanted to write their songs as truthful as possible—placing themselves in the world with authenticity. And this reason had led them to free themselves out of their comfort zones to write songs about life from a Christian perspective, instead of merely writing songs directly about worship.

“Made For This”, according to Carrollton’s Justin Mosteller, is the passionate outpouring of a deep conviction we have about this “thing” we get to do. The lyrics’ brave stance of doing what needs to be done is clearly sang in the song as Carrollton begins the song’s chorus with:

I was made for this
I was made for this

It embodies a great sense of determination for the reason of an existing purpose. The song speaks as we make it our goal to pursue our purpose that is glorifying God in every work and action giving it a more intense impact because of the sound and the powerful lyrics “Made For This” offers.
