GET TO KNOW OUR DJs
Deedee is a musician and a writer by passion, a corporate slave by profession. As introverted as she is, being a DJ is something that she never imagined doing, but she takes it as a huge privilege to be used by God in the radio ministry. She serves in her church as a youth leader and is in the worship team with her three younger siblings. On her spare time (which she does not really have much of because of work!), she either stays home to watch K-drama, or goes out to meet up with her close friends. She’s totally game for food trips, jam sessions, and heart-to-heart conversations, whichever is needed the most. It’s important to mention also that she prefers tea over coffee.
Life Verse: You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. And I will be found by you, declares the Lord… (Jeremiah 29:13, 14a)
Clarice is a freelance content editor and editorial consultant focused on digital marketing and brand-building content strategy. She is an avid reader with a never-ending booklist and consumes varied content on a daily basis. She enjoys picking people’s brains over lunch. Every so often, she writes about her earthly sojourn as a single woman on www.singlewaitingjoyful.wordpress.com.
Life verse: “Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” (2 Corinthians 4:16-18)
REN DELA CRUZ
A self-proclaimed ambivert (both an extrovert and introvert), Ren loves both spending time alone (to read or write), and conversing with people (on a variety of topics including but not limited to NBA updates, healthy food recipes, and all things Jesus and the Bible). She’s passionate about empowering women to find their freedom and identity in Christ, and reaching out to underprivileged children. When she can manage it, Ren also likes to dance and surf (the waves, not the internet).
Life Verse: “Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life.” (1 Timothy 1:15-16)
Life Verse: “We know that our old self was crucified with Him in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin. For one who has died has been set free from sin. Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with Him.” (Romans 6:6-8)
