Carrolton features Tell Me, one of its songs from the album Sunlight and Shadows. It starts off with thought-provoking statements and questions about one’s identity. Then it builds up to a chorus, very convicting of who we are in Christ: loved, known, and adopted as a child. As the lyrics of the chorus says:

Tell me I am loved
Tell me I am known
That You died for me
I am not alone
Tell me I’m Your child
The one Your heart beats for
I can find my strength
Knowing I am Yours
You’ve always known what my heart needs
And You tell me

This is a very uplifting that can touch people’s hearts, especially those who are struggling in their identities. Ephesians 2:10 reminds us, “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
