“What’s stopping you?”

All of us have been blessed with abilities. We have God living in us, the same God whose power brought Christ from death to life. But sometimes our circumstances plant fear upon fear in our hearts, rendering us paralyzed.

Did we enter the battle field insecure and it’s all manifesting now? Or did we enter ever so brave and full of zeal but something made us change? Slowly, prayers of thanksgiving turned into desperate pleas. Next thing we know the once joy-filled life we have with God has been round-the-clock about fears, about wanting to breathe, about wanting to be in a place where our spirits are not crushed day-in and day-out. Prayers of “God… I want out”.

Everyone’s telling you to let go of what you’re holding to
It’s too late, too far
You’re too small, it’s too hard

Giants Fall by Francesca Battistelli perfectly captures the piles of untruths we have to go through every day. The upbeat and spirit-lifting melody balancing the heaviness of the daily struggles we encounter. The message is simple and yet it’s this big leap that we sometimes hesitate to take for any reason.

Ask and believe
You’re gonna see
The hand of God in every little thing

I pray for the things holding you back right now. I claim that the circumstances will lean in favor of you. In Jesus’ name. Have faith, co-soldier. Let the size of our prayers magnify the great God we have. Pray for the impossible and watch the giants fall.

…if you have [living] faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and [if it is God’s will] it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.
Matthew 17:20
