Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life,
which God has promised to those who love him.
James 1:12

It is necessary to go through moments of instability in order to grow as Christians. Sometimes though, because we are so stuck in our pain, we forget that truth. It becomes harder to hope and to hold on to His promise when the world bogs us down.

So we must pray.
Ask God to go into our hurting and broken parts and strengthen us.
Guide us.
Remind us.

We must seek out His peace and (with His grace) learn to let go. We need to let go so that He can come into these moments where pain and fear try to become our bed fellows. These are the moments where His glory and miracles manifest best in our lives. They are His victories for us.

For it is the crux of our faith that He has already won.

And as our Savior, He is constantly with us. He walks with us through fire and storm and sometimes even carries us in our pain. He knows that we needed those trials to break us in order to be made whole in Him.

For there are blessings waiting for us.

His victory over the grave is a testament of this. By taking up all our sins, Jesus gave us back a relationship with Our Father.

This new life in Him and through Him is our greatest blessing, for it is the biggest yearning in all our hearts. We were created to be reunited with Our Lord.

So we must always seek Him and stay steadfast to the biggest promise that is waiting for us.

Are you going through your trials right now? Have you prayed to the Lord about it? Have you thanked Him for the blessings that are yours today, and the ones you know are yours tomorrow? Remember that you already have the biggest blessing just in knowing who He is.
