Have you felt this kind of pain? It cuts through your heart but you know you still have your heart whole. It makes you broken but still complete.

It’s been a long time since you refused to feel pain… but not this time. This time is different. You allowed it to pierce through the deepest part of your heart— a part of your heart you once thought no longer exists. You let yourself embrace this beautiful brokenness.. because you know it’s worth it, because you know the source of it— God.

He is holding you together.

He is the source of this light that penetrates through the darkest stories of your heart— stories you no longer want to remember. But you have to walk through that memory lane. You have to bring it all to the light and let Him handle them. You’re done hiding and pretending you’re over them. You have to settle it once and for all.

God is mindful how hard it can get. But you have to trust Him. You have to trust Him that whatever you are experiencing will never be in vain. He is like an artist working on a sculpture.

Shaping you might be painful but the transformation that He is working on you can never be compared to any other.

He removes the things you don’t need to be the masterpiece that He designed you to become. He removes all fears, all doubts, all insecurities, all self-pity and all hatred. He washes out all your sin and turns your scarlet color to white as snow.

“Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool.” Isaiah 1:18

Becoming God’s best version of you is a tough process. It can hit you hard and bring you to your knees. But rejoice! Celebrate the peace and understanding that whatever you are going through is definitely not a heartbreak. Cheers to a work in progress!
