Jeremy Camp found inspiration for his latest single, Word of Life, from John 6. The song speaks transformation caused by knowing and encountering God and of following the path God has called us out to.

Some disciples deserted Jesus while when he asked the twelve if they wanted to go, Peter answered in John 6:68, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.” The song recounts how precious these words from Jesus are.

“You can run to the world and turn your back on the Lord but that’s where all the problems are,” shares Camp. “But Jesus offers peace, hope, joy, words of eternal life. Stick to the only true source of life and that’s Jesus Christ.”
